Karen Visocan McKeogh is the Chief Compliance Officer at FCSLA Life, a fraternal benefit insurance company located in Cleveland, Ohio. Before joining FCSLA Life, Karen was an associate with Calfee, Halter & Griswold, LLP. Karen has also served as an adjunct faculty member at Case Western Reserve University School of Law, Cleveland State University College of Law, and Ursuline College. Karen graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Law earning Order of the Barristers and Student of the Year honors.
Karen places a high priority on community service and served as long-time pro bono legal counsel for The First Tee of Cleveland and as a board member for the Lawyers Guild of the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland, the CWRU Law School Alumni Board, and Stay In Softball. As a living kidney donor, she also helps counsel individuals interested in becoming a donor and volunteers with the American Transplant Foundation. Karen also serves as a softball umpire for the Ohio High School Athletic Association and various community softball leagues.
Karen lives Chagrin Falls, Ohio with her husband, Tim. They are the proud parents of daughter, Meghan, who is a Second Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps. Karen loves open-water swimming, diving, softball, and baking.
