Darren Geist

Darren Geist is Nominations & Constitution Counsel at the Senate Judiciary Committee. He was previously an Adjunct Professor at Princeton University, where he taught Constitutional Interpretation. Prior to that, he spent almost eight years as Senior Compliance Counsel at Colgate-Palmolive, and was a Visiting Lecturer in Human Rights at the University of Navarra in Pamplona, Spain. He is a graduate of Princeton University and received the Spirit of Princeton Award. After working at the Council on Foreign Relations and then UNICEF in Sierra Leone, he attended NYU School of Law where he was the Co-President of the Federalist Society and was awarded the Vanderbilt Medal. He has been published in First Things, Public Discourse, RollingStone, National Interest, and Dignity: A Journal of Analysis of Exploitation and Violence. He lives in Maryland with his wife and four kids.
