Michael Marolda is experienced in all phases of litigation, working as an associate on high-profile civil litigation matters involving pharmaceutical and medical devices and mass/toxic torts. He has conducted and defended depositions of expert witnesses, corporate representatives, medical professionals, and fact witnesses. Michael is skilled at crafting detailed case strategies, collaborating with legal teams, and effectively communicating complex information to judges and juries. Michael maintains a robust motions practice and routinely briefs and argues discovery, dispositive, and post-trial motions. Michael approaches each case with the intended resolution in mind, keeping his clients’ goals at the forefront of his litigation strategy.
Prior to joining Wilson Elser, Michael worked in Finance, where he held a Life, Accident, and Health Insurance License and in Technology for a large Contract Lifecycle Management company where he catered to some of the largest insurance companies.
While in law school, Michael was the research assistant to the former dean and head of the Law & Economics Center. He assisted his first law firm in pro bono advocacy in Virginia after achieving his Third-Year Practice Certificate. Michael subsequently transitioned into private practice where he defended institutional clients and companies in matters relating to complex premises liability, personal injury, wrongful death, commercial litigation, transportation, property dispute, and construction defect.
Michael served as a Judicial Intern to the Hon. James P. McCormack, Supreme Court of New York in 2020.
