Mitchell Muncy

Muncy understands his clients’ challenges deeply because he has served in the same roles and faced the same obstacles they do. His mission is to provide them with the support and advice he wishes he had much earlier in his career.

Over the last 25 years, Muncy has been co-founder or chief execuitve of five start-ups, for-profit and non-profit, spanning higher education, public policy, and the media.

Muncy has appeared on C-SPAN, CNN, NPR, and the BBC, as well as in the Wall Street Journal, Forbes, and Publishers Weekly. He previously served on the board of directors and executive committee of the Independent Book Publishers Association and has spoken widely at American universities and industry events.

Muncy now provides strategy development, non-profit due diligence, crisis management, and interim executive management to startups, non-profits, and philanthropists. He is the Founder and Principal of Prospera LLC and the Executive Vice President of the Ethics and Public Policy Center. Lastly, he hosts a The Successful Strategist, a twice-weekly podcast on strategy, management, and governance.
