Funds available for the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) and Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) have been exhausted, according to a statement posted on April 16, 2020 on the Small Business Administration (SBA) Coronavirus Small Business and Loan Guidance page.

This “Religious Liberty Language for Bylaws” document is an educational resource which provides examples of the kind of language that faith-based nonprofits should consider including in their corporate bylaws, as part of an overall effort to document the organization’s religious identity. Nonprofit corporate law varies from state to state, so this resource should only be used in consultation with an experienced attorney.

Faith-based nonprofits, along with other businesses and entities, must act quickly to adjust to the economic and public health impacts of coronavirus. However, with shelter-in-place laws established across the country, holding a board meeting through traditional means is now difficult and even impossible.
